Artificial Intelligence In Higher Education A Systematic Review of The Application of Ai In Latin Universities

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Latin American university platforms has thus far failed to enhance existing educational paradigms for young university students, primarily due to the inadequate adaptation of AI for pedagogical purposes. Through a comprehensive analysis of various scholarly articles concerning the application of AI in high school and university education, this study aims to elucidate that the implementation of AI is both feasible and attainable at the subregional level. The methodology employed encompasses a Systematic Literature Review, which includes the formulation of a research question, an exhaustive search for relevant literature, the selection of studies, data extraction, and a critical analysis and synthesis of the findings from diverse articles. In conclusion, it is evident that the limited utilization of AI stems from a deficient comprehension of the concepts pertaining to the genuine and potential integration of AI with pedagogical methodologies.
