Research On The Attitudes and Motivation of Students In Humanitarian Disciplines For Digital Ai Literacy Education - An Analysis of Educational Needs
The massive penetration of artificial intelligence technologies in recent years has transformed AI literacy from a narrowly specialised skill into a basic com-petency for the modern student. This has necessitated an urgent transformation of curricula in higher education, especially for specialities outside the IT sec-tor. Over the past 2-3 years, the focus has gradually shifted from the technolog-ical aspect of AI training to training non-specialists to work ethically with it. Today, there is a great “hunger” for appropriate methodologies for teaching AI to people who do not have a technical education. In connection with this prob-lem, a curriculum has been developed for students studying in humanitarian disciplines, which aims to prepare them how to use artificial intelligence tools in an ethical and sustainable manner. This paper presents the results of a survey conducted among non-specialist students, aiming to establish their expectations and attitudes towards the con-tent of a specialised AI training course.
