Organizational Capacities For Innovation and Digital Transformation: Systematic Literature Review

The dynamic and competitive nature of the business environment has re-sulted in an increased focus on digital transformation processes, prompting organizations to enhance their capabilities in both organizational structure and innovation as foundational elements of these initiatives. The relevance assigned to these issues drives a theoretical comprehension that is still fragmented, as there remains a lack of consensus regarding the organization-al capacities that serve as essential foundations for innovation, particularly in the context of digital transformation. Consequently, the objective of this study is to conduct a systematic review of the existing literature concerning the main theories of organizational capacities that promote innovation dur-ing periods of digital transformation, using the PRISMA guidelines to en-sure transparency in this review process, through a detailed search strategy based on Boolean operators in databases such as Web of Science and Sco-pus, culminating in a total of 28 studies that analyze the relationship be-tween these variables, demonstrating that organizational capacities function as a strategic precursor for digital transformation, which in turn serves as a mediating factor in the creation and enhancement of innovation processes.
