Proposition of A Technical Model For Ethical Assessment of Ai In Elearning Systems

While AI has transformed eLearning, it also raises significant ethical concerns regarding transparency, fairness, and data governance. Despite existing guidelines, there is currently a lack of practical models to assess ethical compliance in these educational systems.

To address this, the paper proposes the Ethical Compliance Framework for AI in eLearning (ECF-EDU). This framework translates theoretical ethical principles into measurable criteria across six domains, utilizing a structured scoring mechanism for replicable compliance analysis.

Through an illustrative Learning Management System scenario, the study demonstrates how to systematically quantify ethical risks. Ultimately, this work provides a practical tool to support responsible AI governance in distance education.
