Rag-Powered Contract Net Farming Framework
Contract farming is a collaborative agricultural arrangement that ensures stable production, quality control, and guaranteed pricing for both farmers and firms. However, challenges such as contractual misconduct from either party as well as resource mismanagement can limit its effectiveness. This paper proposes a novel contract farming framework by leveraging the Contract Net Protocol for efficient farmer selection. The system is further enhanced with a hierarchical Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) module to assist farmers in understanding contracts clauses and improving their decision-making. Results demonstrated that the proposed RAG outperformed existing RAG configurations in terms of ROUGE-L, BLEU and METEOR scores.
