Performance Management With Ai
Performance management is a core organizational process aimed at aligning individual contributions with strategic objectives through continuous evaluation, feedback, and development planning. In parallel, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly evolved into a transformative technological capability capable of supporting data-driven management practices, automating analytical processes, and improving decision-making quality. The convergence of these domains is progressively reshaping how organizations monitor, evaluate, and develop employee performance. This paper introduces the theoretical foundations of performance management and Artificial Intelligence in organizational contexts, followed by an examination of how AI-based systems are transforming traditional performance management practices. AI-supported tools enable continuous monitoring of performance indicators, real-time feedback, and more objective assessment mechanisms, thereby improving fairness and accuracy in evaluation processes. Recent research also highlights the role of AI in predictive analytics, talent identification, and personalized development pathways. However, the integration of AI into performance management also introduces ethical and organizational challenges, including algorithmic bias, employee privacy concerns, and resistance to technological change. By integrating theoretical insights with emerging research in AI-driven human resource management, this paper provides a comprehensive overview of how AI technologies are redefining performance management and the strategic management of human capital in modern organizations.
